Our Directors

Wakabayashi-san is a co-founder of HSC, which he helped establish in 2001 with Arvi Sood. 
 
He has a BA from Waseda University and over 20 years’ experience in the securities and banking industry, he also serves as managing director of Woodale Enterprises Pte Ltd.
 
In 1981 he began his career as in importer/business developer of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and computer software at Itochu Corporation. In 1987 he joined Morgan Stanley in the fixed-income department. In 1988 he joined Kidder Peabody as vice president in the fixed-income division and moved to the investment banking division in 1990. He worked closely with Arvi Sood in New York and London on client transactions. In 1995 he joined Bear Stearns as a managing director and created and sold several private offshore and public funds and worked on numerous derivatives, structured products and collateralised bond obligation transactions (CBOs) for Japanese companies.
 
In 2000 he left Bear Stearns and to become a fund adviser/manager, and in 2001 launched investment management and financial advisory business with Arvi Sood under the HSC umbrella.
