Jaswinder (Jas) Sandher
Managing Director, Investment Banking and Capital Markets
Jas has 30+ years experience in investment banking and capital markets joining HSC as Managing Director in 2022.
He started at County Bank writing convertible bond pricing models before moving to British Gas to run their debt issuance programme.
- In 1991 he joined the European Investment Bank and was responsible for managing non-USD bond issuance.
- In 1996 he moved to Barclays where he held a number of senior roles including Head of EMTNs and Commercial Paper, Head of US Capital Markets, Global Head of Syndicate and Head of Americas High Yield.
- In 2002 he became Head of Capital Management at Bradford & Bingley.
- In 2003 he moved to ABN Amro in Hong Kong to become Head of Financial Institutions and Public Sector.
- In 2007 he returned to London as Head of Debt Capital Markets – Europe and Africa for Standard Chartered Bank.
- In 2012 he joined Bank of China in London as Head of EMEA Debt Capital Markets.
- In 2022 he became Group Chief financial Officer for Vantage Trading Partners, Labuan, Malaysia.
Jas has an MA in Physics and Theoretical Physics from Cambridge University.
